Ashley Cole has told friends it won’t be long until he’s back together with ex-wife Cheryl Cole, calling the situation a “done deal”, according to The Sun.

The pair divorced last year following claims of Ashley’s rumoured infidelity, but remained close friends.

Cheryl is believed to have turned to her ex-husband for support after her shock axe from The X Factor USA last month; in fact Ashley was said to be the only person Cheryl would take phone calls from in the first few days after the surprise news.
