Case in point Ibra and Pique, both called for nothing fouls just because they are bigger and stronger and naturally react better to inevitable contact.
eh, not necessarily... rami gets away with a lot of shit, imho there's kind of a "you have to be this big to be considered physical" line referees have, and if players bounce off rami they mostly chalk it up to rami being strong and not bodychecking, i imagine
True, but Rami isnt as big a Pique, Ibra or Dede.
Though, just checking he isnt much smaller...doesnt quite stand out like those 3 though for some reason.
So yeah, perhaps your right.

You lot jinx it with Luiz, he was doing an impression of Terry Butcher or something today.
Defending properly & still contributing to attacks properly, thanks!

Re: Is Dede the next great Brazilian CB?
nah he is a terrible defender, the attacking stuff should be a bonus when you are a center back.

he's better off being a Leftback or converting to CDM.

Luiz gives you the finger cos you didn't watch the match, proper defending whilst still being able to attack.
Best of both worlds
AVB probably was the reason for half his *bleep* ups, by giving him more "creative freedom" or such. Roberto totally told him to just get rid of the ball anyway possible
