you are right there are probably 2-3 games that come immediately to mind.

Great game. Man U completely outplayed at home. It's been a long time since that's happened. So much talent in Bilbao's team, hope they make top 4 in La Liga so that they get into the CL.



United were completely out of ideas in this game. It was just 'get the ball to Rooney' otherwise there was absolutely no chance of them scoring or creating anything.

I won't even make the standard I thought La Liga sucks comment as I hope it's obvious that Bilbao is a really good European team not just a La Liga team now the EPL fans have actually watched them play.

Man Utd goals from a pen and a freekick, nothing in open play...more organisation and discipline from Bilbao and this could of have been a shut out.

YEa, I know I watched it, I was just saying the goals were so against the run of play not to mention the handball was outside the box but that makes up for the offside goal IMO.

Really impressed with Bilbao today all in all though, great team, and greater with their region locked recruitment. Smart move to bring in Beilsa, and hope we watch them in Cl. Shame they can't compete for the La Liga though.

Wow, I'm pretty excited I haven't been this pumped up after a game that wasn't a Barca game since I don't know when, probably when Donovan scored to put us through the group stages at the World cup.

Maybe never for another club team. I just respect what Bilbao does so much with there policy of bringing in only Basque players and never being relegated and beating teams like United who scour the globe for the best players on Earth. It's just incredible the sheer amount of really good players little pockets of Spain can produce.

Bilbao always plays good in big games,its in there blood.

Javi Martinez had an excellent game in defense today. Very cultured on the ball and intelligent, if a little naive with his defending though.

This should shut up all the haters who say LigaBBVA is just a two horse race.

Also LigaBBVA is the best league in the world, I think that much is obvious.

United probably didnt care. But good job to bilbao, nice to see other spanish teams catching up.

I've already shown my appreciation for Bilbao, but feel obligated to point out that this does not change the fact that La Liga is a two horse race. I'm not saying that there aren't quality teams in the league apart from Barca and R. Madrid - that's just stupid. However, the reality is that no team other than those two have a chance of winning La Liga anytime in the next few seasons at least - I don't think that's an unreasonable claim to make.

Just watched the highlights, but did Bilbao absolutely outplay Man U or what! They had so many chances Man U were lucky. And the Man U fecks as usual end up with a late dodgy lucky goal penalty meh goal to make it 2-3 when it shsould have been a lot worst! Grrrr

Didnt watch the game but I think I would of been pumped up as well. I keep hearing all about Bielsa and finally see the product after Chile in Bilbao. Excited to see them continue to develop under him
