That comparison is harsh.

That's probably true. Honestly, it's more the media's fault for playing up every single word he says in relation to the topic of his potential transfer. Still, the hype is becoming comparable, and this video certainly made the conclusion easy to jump to. In the end, he can't hype the situation to the extent that Lebron did if only because of the structure of transfers in football. It's just not quite the same.
