Messi isn't the only Argentinian striker legend!

Some of you guys never watched or knew about the previous legends in football. I'm talking about the very young fans. Argentine didn't produce Maradona ( I count Maradona as what you call an attacking midfielder nowadays) and Messi only and I'm talking about strikers...
One of my favourite strikers ever along R9, very physical and powerful with awesome shooting technique was Gabriel Batistuta, also known as Batigol. Watch the video and cum:



I really miss his kind of strikers, they make the game unpredictable= fun. You can't mark them out entirely, never
By the way, he scored 81 goals in 105 appearances for Argentine. Not too shabby, isn't it? :lol!:

Agreed, a fantastic player and former best striker in the world. He could've reaked havoc in 1994 if it wasn't for Diego's surprise result

Not only that, he scored a goal every 90 minutes in the most defensive league in the world. back then, Serie A was the best,most competitive league and games were decided with the scores of 1-1 or 2-1.Is there a striker with better efficiency in goal/minutes than Batigol?

I remember from my childhood my dad screamed out his name (he's a huge Argentina fan) constantly. Spectacular player who is underrated due to the lack of "big" clubs he played in.

Podolski is poor man's Batigol anyway No, not even klose
Did he ever score a tap in? He smashed the ball into the net each time I saw him play Gerrard was poor man's Batigol in midfield I think, I don't know other players who scored so many screamers

Seems its not only me who was in love with Batigol. he scored against all the big teams likes of M.U, Barcelona, Arsenal, Inter, Milan, Juventus. Big game player and very loyal. He is underrated because he never won anything big (No CL no WC)
