Which one is harder wasn't the point. The original point was if Messi can score similar goal like that, and there is really no argument against it, based on variety of volley's Messi has done already.

Can't believe how simple majority of people are.

Now the halfway dribble goal, can Zidane score goal like that? I don't think so.

No matter which is difficult. Both called "volley" i think...

And "volley" is not the correct way to rate a player. Dribbling is a skill, but Volley is a moment. I have seen abilities likes of Passing, Dribbling, Shooting, Running but i have never seen a skill called "Volleying". scratch

Imo Volley is a moment and many "unknown" players had that moment lot of great volleys, bicycle kicks. And Zidane did not even come close to do that again, so it happened once and gone. We are not going to remember Zidane as king of "Volleys". in messi's case he came close many times, and scored some similar goals (easier versions of "century goal" ). Conclusion, some can remember Messi as "king of dribbling" but nobody will remember Zidane as the "king of Volleys".

Anyway my question was could Zidane score that goal. lets call it "goal of century" type goals...Answer: No Zidane did not have ability to score like that. Tomorrow Messi can score a great volley by chance. But Zidane can never score a "century" goal by chance. so dont compare "Chance" with "Skills"

I agree. Even 3rd rated players in the 5th division of chile, for ex, can get lucky once in a while and score a brilliant volley..

For me, I just enjoyed the beauty of Zidane's individual brilliance over anything I've seen Messi produce.

On the other question, Zidane has done it at every level, but I still haven't seen Messi do for Argentina what Zidane did for France.
