Any news on a possible name for the stadio? If Stadio Don Francesco isnt among e candidaes its a farce!

Great news!

Roma President James Pallotta will present the new stadium project on March 26.

“I will ask for a clear pledge and a plan of work that can complete the project in two years,” noted Mayor Ignazio Marino.

“I would like everything done by the book, but also quickly. I’d want Roma to be able to use their own stadium for the 2016-17 season.”

President Pallotta will fly in for the presentation on March 26 at the Sala della Protomoteca in Campidoglio.

A stadium designed after Rome's most iconic structure, the Colosseum. 52,000 seat capacity with further expansion to 60k, Roma Hall of Fame, a Nike Superstore. This stadium sounds absolutely remarkable and extremeay well deserving of the city of Rome and its inhabitants

If the players came up from the ground somehow like in the video that would perhaps be too good?

Yea the players coming up from the ground like that isn't gonna happen    but it would almost be reminiscent of the movie Gladiator with Francesco playing the lead   

Stadio della Roma sounds good enough for a start, but I read somewhere that they want a sponsor for the naming rights, which is popular these days.

Disney, Nike? Emirates? lol, will see:P

Could be Volkswagen

I personally like Stadio della Roma. A bit plain for a name, but it's an Italian name unlike Juventus Stadium at least.

Im more interested to know who is the investor. The third party that sponsors this stadium ,without that its just a beautiful presentation . Mclewis seems to think its Volkswagen

Just a guess, really since they are our biggest background global sponsor outside of Nike and Disney.
