I don't know how he still has energy at the end of every game but he does, he never stops running, does anyone run more than him?

It depends if you're more interested in covering ground in a single match where you leave everything on the pitch or the ability to keep continually backing up for important matches three days apart and string together two weeks of insanely tiring football at the highest level.

I am talking about ground coverage at speed, Ramires doesn't just cover ground, he almost covers it at a similar speed all game every game.

the workhorse Ramires is finally getting deserved recognition. i love this guy, but i still dont even know what he is. i guess just b2b mid or something. really you just put him out there and he'll be almost everywhere doing everything working his butt off. few others like him

I think he's a ball winning midfielder with some playmaking duties, not like a true deep lying playmaker, but similar to Yaya Toure? He did created a beautiful moment against barca though Smile

Covers most ground in Real Madrid, everytime Madrid meets Barcelona he covers the most ground aswell. (which means he beats Alves)

Amazing player and incredible underrated amongst Madrid fans.

Of course he covers more ground than Alves, he is chasing the ball while people like Alves have it.

Dont confuse how much running someone does with "stamina" or "fitness".

Running more about position, than anything else.
