Ramos has taken pens before, he always tries to blast it into the top of the net.

I see it the other way around lol. Gigi is and has been the best.. might of taken an injury break but he is back at the top.

To all the buffon lovers, i understand your cry for attention, but we will talk about Buffon next year when you play the CL. For now, Casillas and Neuer are on top.

Gigi has not played against top attacks this year... unless you call Milan's Robinho-Ibra failpairing a top class attack. And Juve's defence is very good. Ill admit not to have watched so much of Buffon this year as I would usually have done, but he hasnt impressed me particularly to be THE best GK, especially only playing in Serie A. Hence, Top 3 is very good for him.

And yeah, those others count with Cech I've never even heard of Vorm, anyway, what is that some kind of German word for an earthworm? :vagi:

So according to you, you cannot be the best player in your position unless you play for a top team in Europe? That's just wrong. Buffon had the chance to move away, but he was loyal. That makes him not as good?

I didnt say that, i said im looking forward to seeing Juventus in a european season. the rest about him staying, i dont really care about.

Neuer and Casillas are the ones leading their teams into deep stages of elite competition while playing fantastic, they are the ones showing during world cups and CL semis two years running. I rate Buffon, just not as high as those two, but next season could be entirely different.

Simply brilliant stuff from both keepers over both legs and especially the shootout. After Neuer's brilliance, Iker's own was simply heroic and put us back into it. Shame about Ramos's penalty.

In my opinion, Neuer and Casillas are easily the two best goalkeepers in the world.

The game didnt exactly have chances galore, but it was just so immense, the tempo and presure, the determination by both teams.... even the penalty shootout was so dramatic, truly a classic game.

Neuer I Remember at his start at Bayern wasnt too impressive but this showing is the first time I really seen him why hes so highly rated, obviously last leg and at times in the past, but this showing was it.

Casillas has always been goat, his one of the smallest GK but able to become one of and for long periods the best I think, is not easy.

I thought also that why Lahm's got saved it might be turn around, but Ramos stepping up Thank u Ramos!
