A modern football stadium that won't look like a spaceship. I like it.

if they do get the station and the land. it would cost them atleast 600-700mil to build it.

Actually, all of this won't affect our FFP status so we can still buy big name players if Roman chooses to.
He will most likely fund the stadium unless we get a sponser, something like Samsung Arena. Gay if you ask me.
We may end up keeping at as Stamford Bridge as they are so close together.
Whatever happens, if we do get it, it will be very unique, historic and probably Iconic.

I haven't spoken to him much but I really see no reason why anyone wouldn't like Battersea. By far the best option available.EarlyPrototype wrote:Lol I don't blame them.

Sounds interesting, keeping the 4 chimneys will be a challenge and would look strange.

That is so so so cool, I love industrial era style (I know it is from the 30ies, not 19th century).
Very nostalgic and smells of old football too.
Anyway, I don't think the buildings around it (like in the concept picture) should be higher than the actual construction.
The stadium itself has to look huge on its own and shouldn't be overshadowed.
This is my design wet dream, imagine how intimidating that is.... A stadium slash FACTORY! On the river. Very sexy.

At first, I was like No, that cant possibly work, too evil and macabre and non-footballish.
But if they do it right, this could be really EPIC. They need to basically gut the building completely though, and rebuild the whole area from scratch. It would be a huge challenge of immense proportions.
