Why no more World XI or FIFA XI charity matches?
Back in the day, there was a about one game every couple of years where world's current and former best players would gather and make two teams, coached by two great coaches (or former coaches) and play an exhibition match. It usually was a good spectacle for players and fans alike. Anyone remember Football for Hope, 90 Minutes for Mandela and other FIFA XI matches? Unfortunately we haven't seen anything like that since 7-8 years ago.

Well, a "Benefizspiel" is a match which is played for charity. In the one above you had an HSV all-star team play against a world eleven including Zinedine Zinane, Ronaldo and Didier Drogba as "match against poverty" for people in Africa.
The other match was a rematch of the WC2010 3rd place match (Germany-Uruguay), played as charity to give the money to a project in Mexico.

You're welcome
BTW, I'm sure there should be other charity matches in other parts of the world, too - I just hear a lot more here about the ones involving German teams/players.
