TBH, his best move would be to stay a Valencia. If Valencia don't keep selling their key players and buy some. But I want him to go to Liverpool. He will enjoy playing under Kenny and with Gerrard, Suarez.

It seems more and more likely he wont be a Liverpool player.Sad

Stay at Valencia and be loyal, play regular UCL football, even if the chances of winning the thing are pretty bad.

Or go to Liverpool, they could use a decent winger, and I really like Matas style, very classic interpretation of the winger role imho.

I just hope who ever get's him( presuming he leaves ofc) they are nto expecting him to be a traditional winger....

Because he aint no winger, he works best as an inside forward, ss or AM.

Which is why imo if he went liverpool a 4-3-2-1 would work best as both Mata and Suarez do thier best work in central area's hovering between midfield and the main striker but are competent in wide area's.

mata is the backup option for both barcelona and Man city. So if either gets Sanchez, the other one goes for Mata.

he most certainly is a winger, beating players and playing low crosses is pretty much 3/4 of all his offensive contribution... he does drift to the middle and even to the right quite a lot but that's definitely not where he's at his best

and he better stay at valencia goddammit, we can't possibly lose 3 wingers in a month...
