On a more serious note I think Messi's best position may be behind the strikers. I know it's only Ecuador but he's been unstoppable tonight.

Stats are not exactly great for Argentina are they? and thats mainly due to how deep he usually plays..... dont think it matters as long as Argentina are successful.

And this system they are playing tonight looks like it could prove successful.

Gil i have been told that Coloccini is paying the price for being " under the radar" and not having any Estudiantes connections.

Probably needs to boss to some Argentine players in the Europa League tbh.

As great as Argentina have been, as I mentioned in the other thread...the nagging thought of Marcelo and Neymar on this unprotected rightflank is certaintly a worry.

Then again, if they press and pass like this..the chances of it being exposed are few and far between.

not parking the bus is the secret to beat argentina.they are very dependent on their forwards marking and pressuring but they will eventually get tired.Cant wait for the classico

Its tough..take away a forward, Messi and seemingly Di Maria has less passing options/connection...leave him, risk this flank defensively.
