Boateng is comparatively error-prone and lacks Badstuber's game-opening abilities, so I think it is more likely to see Dante and Boateng fight it out for the spot next to Badstuber.
Badstuber was skinned 4 times yesterday. he was lucky, Benz, Kaka and Di maria didn't capitalize. Boateng had one blunder in all game. I'm not too impressed.

Badstuber had more problem containing Benzema in both matches.

C.Ronaldo's goal was Lahm's fault and an offside.

Alaba penalty, Badstuber was nowhere in left side of CB..

I am fed up of people using prejudice to decide that Badstuber is as good as Boateng.

Can't remember if Badstuber even made one tackle, but Boateng is always good at tackling even last ditch tackling

it's not just our opinion, it's how Heynckes decides...and if you followed all our games this season and watched the interviews, you know that Heynckes favours Badstuber over Boateng

Doesn't change anything to me, at some point Van Gaal favoured Olic above Gomez, even Muller above Kroos, makes no difference to me.

From the simple fact that whenever Boateng plays alongside Van Buyten or Badstuber he makes them look much more better, unlike when they play-along side any defender.

Boateng has really improved our defense and deserves *bleep* respect from you guys.

I respect Boateng and he is good, but imo Badstuber and Dante are in better form and will play together if nothing changes in case of their form.

Pizzaro will probably come , he already kicked out Rafinha of his apartment in munich and officially said he will leave Bremen in summer, so this is more or less fix.

But then we have just two strikers since Petersen will go on loan to another club i guess.

In my opinion we will buy a classy second striker, we have earned enough money this season to afford one Smile

Dimitar Berbatov? He is an ideal striker for Bayern, he plays just like Gomez.

If he kicked Rafinha out, does that mean Rafinha is leaving, please I dont want Rafinha to leave, he's a good depth player.

Pizarro as 2nd choice striker is not good enough for us, but as 2rd choice I dont mind.

Yes I prefer Berbatov, he's still a very good player, his first touch is much better than Gomez.

But we need a Young gun, who can play in More than 2 position, With CF being his natural position...

Great signing, although I hate how Gladbach are being ripped apart yet hitting CL football Sad

Sort of like Udinese, as Arq said, but let's hope they also maintain consistency as Udinese has done.

tbh leiva and Goatstavo are pretty close, but Leiva has started all these games for us already so there is no question about him being a starter

Gustavo doesn't have the technique Lucas has.

They should both play together, IMO. Lucas is creative enough to push the ball forwards to whoever crazy skilled Brazilians he'd have in front, and Gustavo covers.

---------------GK------------------

-------CB---CB----CB-------------

Dives----Lucas--Gustavo--- Afro

--------------Ganso------------

---------CF----------Nerman----

That's the best possible setup for Brazil if they intend to win something. Their CMs aren't creative enough but the wingbacks and attackers excel.

Gustavo and Leiva are both average technically imo,.Lucas can spray the ball forward but not at Busquets/Schweinsteiger level

they fit in our destroyer role

Awesome.

Will rotate with Boateng, I guess.

Sorry, Idro, but smart defenders like Badstuber are very hard to find nowadays.

:vagi:

Seriously, he's a depth signing but he's going to play a lot since we don't have anyone else. He's left footed so he might even slot in at left back from now and then hmm. Never seen him play LB.
