Arsenal have signed a three-year partnership deal with African mobile network operator Airtel ahead of their pre-season tour of Nigeria.

The deal gives Airtel permission to use the club's merchandising, hospitality and content rights in Nigeria, Zambia, Ghana, Uganda and Rwanda, giving the Gunners the potential to reach 42 million fans.

off topic but Goal.com's player ratings is also a complete joke. what a garbage website.

Ozil was the best Germany player against Greece and they give him a low rating : "he struggled to make an impact in the final third".

How is this a fail, Nigeria have 150million people, it's not a poor nation and they are people who love football.

I think on a long run, it will benefit Arsenal

Kinda reminds me of cyberman trying to argue Man Utd. is the most supported entity on earth (the Int footy vs Club footy discussion) and not realizing that of those 300 million supposed supporters, more than half of the SEA fans couldn't even name you mmore than 7 players.
