Happy birthday or beloved "Il Capitano"

Since he first ran onto the San Siro pitch at the tender age of 16 he caught our eyes and our hearts. He made the LB position his own and when many believed he would live in his father's shadow he was to become one of our greatest players ever. He has won more trophies than most major European teams, and his longevity on the pitch was evidence of his commitment to training to that of the club Milan. Not many can boast to being a one club footballer and especially with today's money hungry professionals with greedy clauses as that they must be the highest paid in the squad and guarenteed starters. Paolo was to be the poster boy for this dying species of the one club footballer, as he epitomized everything that one should be, honorable, loyal and courageous.

Happy Birthday... the greatest defender ever to step foot on the field! Great even the last season with us!

He's my favorite player ever. Me saying Happy Birthday just doesn't seem like it's enough. Silly I know, but he's been a huge inspiration and influence.
