I was kidding when I said that. I think if we have a 3rd striker it's Morata, but I'm now wondering if we will carry a 3rd stiker. Morata won't be at training camp and I can't see him getting that job if he doesn't make it to camp. I aslo don't see him going back to Castilla, so maybe he will also be loaned out. Mou is going with a 4-3-3 for most of next year (at least that's the theory), so he then can view his line-up as numerous strikers (Higgy, Kun / Bennz / Llorente, C. Ronaldo, Di Maria, Callejon and Neymar if he comes) so the 3rd striker is not as great.

Bottom line is I'm very confused about if they will sign Neymar, when he would come to club (maybe in January) and where does he play and who if anyone leaves?

With Varane, It has to be a prearranged loan deal somewhere or they plan to make him first or second CB sub with Carvalho with Albiol pushed to end of bench.

Well, he is heavily linked with him. Only thing that makes me doubt it is becouse only Italian media and AS&Marca are reporting it. It's not impossible. It's been very quiet about him and more about Neymar now.

there are obvious reasons for which you cant see kun linked to real everyday in the press, it would be upsetting for them.

There is absolutly no news about deals coming from club, which is why the press is making up all these stories. They are talking to agents, anyone who will give them a line to amke up a story.

I've never seen Madrid behave this way before. It has to be a plan to stop the price escalation that usually happens when their intentions are known.

I think Nick is onto something about Team waiting until new fiscal year (July 1st). That being the case, then it's only one more week of waiting. The expected order of events likely will be;

Player sales - we want the income at our values before we buy new players.
Coentrao deal likely has Drenthe and / ot Gary going the other way.
Aquero deal
Sale of benz and kaka
Purchase of Cazorla (or someone like him)
If Lass goes, maybe a pure DM is sought.
I still don't know what to expect re Neymar.

Javier matallanas blogged about Mourinho doing his best to shut down the leakage of infos out of the club. He talked to the staff, medics, players and their agents before they leave and gave them some guidelines...
