Brazilians in England ?
Wow last time i noticed, the number of Brazilians plying their trade in England looks to be increasing by the day..
Chelsea boast of talents such as Lucas Piazon,Ramires,David Luiz,Oscar* and perhaps we could see Hulk is on his way to Chelsea too.
Man United have Rafael ,Fabio and now they look set to add Lucas Moura to their ranks too..
Spurs have Sandro ,Pool-Lucas ,Arsenal-Andre Santos(excuse me if i've missed out any) and there are several other talented Brazilian players who have been heavily linked with moves to England.
And these are actually some 'top' Brazilian players who represent their NT regularly.
I mean 7-8 years ago you wouldnt have imagined so many Brazilian players playing in England as i have heard stories of them not favoring the English culture and lifestyle but clearly this trend seems to be changing nowadays..
Is it because that the PL is at its peak and the kind of money in the offing that we're witnessing these many Brazilian players playing in England or is this a genuine 'trend' which is developing ?Could we see more and more Brazilian players prefer/favor England move in the future ?

I think that it went the other way around,English clubs didn't want brazilians and then it started changing.Maybe this Lucas to man u and Oscar to Chelsea wave started after Ramires and leiva's performances.specially Ramires.it will be really interesting to see lucas in man u.I think Oscar will play well regardless of how the epl works

Neymar I would guess, he's starting for the Olympic squad.

Ramires, Lucas and Sandro are not the type of players we'll usually remember when we think of Brazil. Even if the likes of Oscar and Moura go to England, I do think that they'll flop primarily due to the lack of space and the physical nature of the Premier League.

Nah i dont think Oscar will flop imo due to those above reasons you mentioned ,when players like Silva(the exact same thing was said about him) have thrived in the PL i'm sure Oscar can too.
I'm not sure about Lucas Moura though..Have not really seen him to make a proper judgement.

Physicality doesn't matter imo. If a player is talented then it'll show. E.g. Silva, Aguero, Modric etc.

Re: Brazilians in England ?
So going by what Ganso says its not really down to culture and lifestyle it seems..(That we're seeing many Brazilians here)
So its more like the game have evolved in the PL with a lot more technique involved as opposed to the proverbial 'kick and rush' game that English football was once famous for.

Oscar has amazing balance and can shield the ball pretty damn well, I don't think he will flop at all.

Re: Brazilians in England ?
If Brazilians can adapt to Bundesliga, I mean German culture, what's so different about England? Ain't they basically the same thing? Pretty much everywhere in Europe would be a massive change in comparison to Europe, so the cultural aspect seems null to me.
It was probably due to English football not being ready for so much flair. Only recently have you seen a big rise in the number of technical players. ManC, now recently Chelsea, ManU still are all wings, and of course Arsenal.
Now I'd say they'd have a nice chance of succeeding.

Re: Brazilians in England ?
We don't have one typical Brazilian (ok maybe DL4 is but he is a CB so it doesn't matter.)
Piazon is a lot like Mueller, Not typical.
Ramires plays nothing like any Brazilian before him.
Oscar (who should sign within a few days) is not a typical brazilian either, he is very effective and efficient, not flashy or pacy like some.
