It's really simple, Guardiola doesnt trust Thiago to support that midfield alone this season, despite all the talent he has, pep aint crazy.

Barca have shown they can do the unlikely or unnecessary before. It wouldn't surprise me if this time they do buy him, actually. Fans may not want him but I think the Barca board think otherwise.

well, pep is disagreeing with you, with Xavi's body starting to fail, there isnt a more perfect player to take over. Cesc is a world class player on top of things, no risks there. Pep wants barcelona to remain the best in the world, he doesnt want a transition during which you lose it all to real and build up again.

i hope he pushes for a move on Fabregas above Sanchez, just so you end up with mata or something Smile

Take Xavi out and replace him Cesc I can bet any thing on it Cesc will do a better job then Xavi, don't get me wrong Xavi is amazing player and I like guy.

He hasn't been "left out", he wasn't even supposed to be in it from the start as far as I'm aware.

Anyway, do you guys think that Pep didn't play Thiago as much last season because he didn't want everyone to notice how talented he was and bid the measly 10m that is required? As in, he is waiting till his buy-out clause reaches 30m before he starts using him regularly, so that other clubs can't snatch him away easily
