SAF says United has best Strike force in Europe????

SAF said he has the best strike force in Europe and it's hard to argue with him but who agrees with him? I disagree but it's not by much. I would say Barca and Madrid because you have 2 guys who can go off for 60 plus goals and I will admit I am biased but I still think City may have an edge but it's hard to say that anymore.

So who Agree's / Disagree's and did I leave a team out that you think can compete with United's Strike Force? Bayern maybe or an italian team?

Oh, and do you consider Winger's as a Strike Force? I do.

United- Rooney, RVP, Welbeck, Chicharito, Berba, Nani, Valencia, Kagawa.

Barcelona- Messi, Villa, Sanchez, Pedro, Fabregas, Tello, Cuenca, Afellay

Real Madrid- Ronaldo, Benzema, Higuain, Di Maria, Callejon, Ozil, Kaka

Man City- Kun Aguero, Tevez, Balotelli, Dzeko, Silva, Nasri, Adam Johnson, (Adebayor and Santa Cruz but they wont be there so you can count them if you like but I will not).

If I left anyone off let me know. Who has the best Strike Force???????

City's is better....

I would say Real Madrid has the best strike force in europe atm. Barca is close second and Man City third.

Benzema > RVP
Ozil > Kagawa
Higuain > Welbeck/Hernandez
Ronaldo > Rooney
Di Maria > Nani
Callejon > Valencia

Madrid comes first,United second IF Van Persie performs.I personally only rate Messi highly when it comes to Barca's attack.

City based on what? We have the two highest scorers in the EPl. Theres no arguement here. Goals scoring we have the best. Deal with it.

Well he doesn't consider wingers as part of his strike force, so you're anayzing his statement outside of his own context.

He probably doesn't even consider Ronaldo a striker.

If we break it down like this..

United- Rooney, RVP, Welbeck, Chicharito, Berba,
Madrid- Benzema Higuain , possibly Ronaldo
Barca- Messi,Villa.possibly Pedro
City- Aguero,Tevez,Balotelli, Dzeko.

Then I think City has the edge on them but his statement becomes much more realistic.

Also @ Lex. Let's see how he does while he's not the focal point

Bold statement to make considering Rooney-RvP have never even played together. For that to be true you would have to wait a season at least.

No Italian team can really match that attack at the moment after Milan sold Ibra.


Ibra-Pato-Cassano and Robinho ( ) on paper was brilliant.

I say Bayern Munichs is better.

Probably citys strikeforce too because they have players like Balotelli/Tevez and Dzeko riding the bench sometimes. And Aguero, silva etc normally playing.

Madrids attack is up there too.

I don't see Arsenal.

Well, alot of guys on your list aren't really strikers. He maybe right on that one, but if we're talking about pure attacking talent, I think it's lacking behind Barca's and Madrid's.

There's more than just goalscoring..... plus Tevez hardly played you know full well he would have been up there if he was.

Plus the front line is a whole which is what SAF is on about and City's is better Aguero, Tevez, Balotelli, Dzeko > any 4 strikers Utd can bring up.

Plus whose to say RVP would perform anywhere near to last season? he never had before last season and he had the whole team built around him now he will have to share his goals with Rooney and won't be built around him.

I would be very surprised if RVP scores as many as last season and Aguero and Tevez is a proven and working partnership.

Ronaldo Higuain and Benzema will outscore everyone on that list Jibers, but that''s not what it's about,

Real Madrid.

Benz being better than Rvp is arguable, but Valencia is miles better than Callejon.

I think City and maybe, RM edge United out.

Why are you assuming that RVP and Rooney can match their goal tallies from last season, as teammates?

Callejon's a better goalscorer than Valencia.

Well Tevez didn't play last year so it's hard to tell. Plus Tevez/Kun could be a devastating partnership but we just didn't see it for that long.

The same can be said for Rooney/RVP.

BTW, please try and rate the player, not just one singular season they had. A lot of players have had one great season to never repeat it again. I'm not saying that about anyone in particular but I just think if United fans think RVP is a lock for 30 plus goals then there fooling themselves and the same could be said for Tevez etc.

I tend to disagree. If Messi played for city or something, I dont see why we can say ITS IMPOSSIBLE.

Afterall Aguero banged in 30 goals in 48 games in his first season in the EPL and he is the poor man's Messi. (I know his owners are rich, LOL).
