Statistics are all in the delivery and how you choose to read them. Take the same statistics and add to them games started extrapolate them out and Podolski becomes the new goal leader. Santi looks very average next to OX, Walcott and Podolski. With Bendtner looking like the world beating striker he thinks he is.

And that's without Ramsey and Walcott creating space and chances for him for the majority of the season. I know things aren't necessarily so straight forward, but he'd have probably broken the 20 goal barrier a lot earlier if he had those two around.

If he can get three or four more goals before the season ends, he'd have had an excellent season, scoring wise.

Giroud's 14 league goals are, as of now, more than the league tallies of RvP, Lukaku, Remy, Dzeko, Bony, Adebayor, Benteke, and Negredo (little surprised there, I know he's had a dry spell in this second half of the season though). FWIW.

Arsenal finished in Top Four in 23 of 92 seasons (25%) before Arsène Wenger became manager. Under him, it's now 18 from 18 seasons (100%). cheers
