Bayern München expand the Allianz Arena
As of this season, the Allianz-Arena has a capacity of 71 000 for domestic matches and 68 000 for international matches. They achieved this by adding two additional rows of seats in the upper rank. Even with the additional capacity, the Allianz Arena is already completely sold out for all matches.
Additionally, they added terracing in the northern curve for fans who prefer to stand and support the team that way.

So much win for us, next thing you know we'll outbid Barcelona for their European power, that is the ultimate place a football club can reach, when you manage to buy Uefa.

Re: Bayern München expand the Allianz Arena
Bayern München plan another upgrade to the Allianz Arena. They want to add 2200 terrace üplaces and 2700 new seats. Then the stadium would allow an audience of 75000 for national matches and 69.344 internation matches.
They are currently waiting for the construction permit, which they hope to obtain within this year still.

Re: Bayern München expand the Allianz Arena
The upgrade is already done.
We've already installed a system to turn the whole Südkurve into stands for Bundesliga games (where seats can just be folded out for the CL), just need the permit from the city afaik.
Gives us 2200 more standing fans in the curve for league games.
Then 1700 extra seats from converted unused press space.
Maximum capacity for league games now 75000.

Hopefully the officials will not decide that they don't want to give Bayern the permission after all XD

Is he? Well, then you probably won't have anything to fear. Otherwise I could imagine red tape to backfire in such cases. You only need to have some "Wichtigtuer" among the officials.
