Yet another Russian winter.... but thankfully only one Eastern European team.

I was rooting so hard for Ajax to be in our group but somehow they weren't allowed. Can anybode explain this? I don't see any reason for it. Ajax has the worst possible group now. Made some decent signings but also lost some very important players so this is going to become quite cumbersome (/understatement). Frank de Boer responded on his Twitter like a baws though: "So, on which day was that final planned again?".

Anyway, Barça's group looking good.

Russian winter in December isint as cold as some of you might think.

I'm not sure why they weren't allowed in our group either.

madrid clearly have a difficult group, we need to maintain our points lead in laliga and pile more pressure on their games. All their games will be high pressure with no room for error.

villa, pedro, song, alba will be key this season, i can feel it.

In Barcelona when it gets to 10 degrees people start wearing thick jackets and stop going out as much, just to give you some context.

i will not say our group very easy. 1. to play in russia, 2. Benfica really play good football 3. Celtic, below average?? no
but still it looks better than madrid's group...
