Milan to win CL

It is bound to happend people. I think if Milan players develop in a certain way they could pull a chelsea. With De Jong, Nocerino and Montelivo(being their sneijder) they could pull a inter/chelsea with allegri. And with Pazzini hitting top form he'll be their Milito, Acerbi their Lucio.

Allegri has shown before that he is a manager that knows how to battle the big teams. Also they have the blessing of Ibra leaving giving them extra chances of a boost to feel Cl glory.

It's been some time since a real knee-jerk thread indeed.

It's possible. They still have good players.

Our realistic goal in Europe is to qualify from the group stage in first place and then play it by ear based upon the draw, which could be potentially very harsh or very kind given the composition of many groups.

Given that our main objective is to simply qualify for the Champions League next season, which requires a top three finish in what looks like being a potentially very tight race at the top of Serie A, a long European campaign, whilst nice, could actually harm the team given that we will eventually crash out. The quarter-finals would be a fantastic result and this eventuality is heavily dependent upon a favourable run with injuries and a good draw.

Or you could try pull a Chelsea Dos, risky tactic though. At points I thought we were crazy for trying. as I felt sure we would bundle out and lose CL this season.

Chelsea had not only a group of experienced leaders seizing their last opportunity for glory, but they had a style and identity upon which to fall back upon, even if the drastic nature of Chelsea's defensive approach was exaggerated by the situation somewhat. This Milan side is a very new squad in many ways, with little experience, an emerging identity and most importantly a severe lack of depth coupled with an injury record that will expose this.

This is a competition where we expose ourselves to the world and I demand that everyone of our players leave everything on the pitch to defend the club, however I expect a campaign of passion and dignity to carry us to the bare minimum expectation for a club of our stature, not to glory.

I don't understand why Galliani is doing this to Milan.

joking aside, this team is not even atm in position to win Serie a...

i do believe however in future that should milan make appropriate signings, they could win CL.... lol without elf-samurai

Lets be honest even if they do a 'Chelsea' that defense they have currently is not going to hold up in the CL especially against top teams.

People were saying the same thing about Chelsea this time last year. After last season's CL, anything can happen. That's what makes the CL the greatest comp in the world.

Milan has as much chance of winning it as every other top club.

yea... especially in semi with bayern real barca chelsea were drawn ... chelsea were the least fav.. yet they pulled it off...

everybody predicted, pretty much thought ok real madrid barca final for sure...

platini must have been pretty pissed about it...
