What about Kanouté?

Giovanni Dos Santos is very talented, as we all know. He plays really well with the Mexican National Team and I've always rated him among some of the most talented young players, however, as mentioned, he lacks the work ethic, patience and commitment to really shine, especially at club level, which is why Barcelona got rid of him.

He can become a very good player if he finds the right team for him and can work to be the best in that team, but if he can't do that, he might fall into the trap Ronaldinho fell into, and all his talent will go to waste. He won't ever really become one of the best out there (even if he works at it), but I certainly think that if he does work, he can be one or two levels lower, and he could certainly make the starting XI of a top team.

Yeah, probably due to lack of a player of Dos Santos type.

Starting to think Gio may not be the answer for them, though. A team like Deportivo could've use a guy like him.

He should go to France, methinks.

Kanoute is apparently leaving this season to either the middle east or MLS anyway, and Kanoute is a striker who is tall yet not physical in his play. Hes pretty much not good for much except finishing

Hes good but he needs a compatible team with a good coach.

Overall as a player easily beats chicharito. work ethic questionable.
in the mexican national team its either GDS or Guardado that is the best in the NT.

He plays as a cam (thank god) as mexico has no real playmaker (Gio compensates for this or he IS the only playmaker mexico has) i prefer it stays that way.
