Drogba's header in the CL final which was straight at him. Don't care how much power was behind it, it should have been saved.

Tons of error in the semis against United? So that's why SAF called his performance the best he ever saw of a GK against ManUtd?

The Drogba header was not saveable as he was too close by and the defense should have taken care of it.

The DFB Pokal final - well, that was a collective failure of the whole Bayern team - you can't blame Neuer as sole culprit.

Calling Neuer a bottler is really as far off the mark as things can get.

Are you kidding me? In the first leg he did very well but he was trash at Old Trafford. He was at fault for at least 2 of the 4 goals that night. Schalke were on the front foot as well before his error for Gibson's goal.

What are you on about Surag lol. The only winners on are our team are Cole, Lamps & JT now that Drogba's gone. Maybe Cech at a stretch after one of the GOAT GK runs in the CL last season but he's been a massive bottler for his country tbh.

The game at Old Trafford was meaningless tbh..The tie was already dead and buried at Veltins Arena and i agree with rwo ,it was one of the best GK perfomances in the first leg of that tie.

I havent closely watched the DFB Pokal final but calling him a bottler based on that one blip against Chelsea is the final is a bit stupid to be honest.Where was the marking on that instance ?how easily Drogba got on the end of it.

Also when Italy demoralized Germany totally i mean they almost shattered the entire team's confidence with those two early goals he was almost like an outfield player near the end of the game when the likes of Schweini,Oezil etc had almost given up on the game..Just shows not only has he got that leadership spirit in him but also can be counted when it matters..Bottler is the last word that should be used on someone like Neuer.

For me, Neuer should have saved Drogba's goal & he made 2 vital erros against Gladbach.

This is their first CL appearance in a good 7 years.Find it a bit odd that they are in mentioned in the same bracket as Barca and Bayern.The priority for them is to qualify for the Round of 16 first and foremost.Competing in CL is not as easy as people think it is for the bigger teams especially those with little experience over the past few years.Wouldnt be surprised if they finish 2nd in their group tbh despite them being handed a favorable draw.
