"We have known for quite a few years there are plenty of players diving and, you have to say, particularly foreign players," said Ferguson.
But the 70-year-old Scot insisted: "Nani is not the type to dive. He has never been that type of player."

Ferguson added: "It was a penalty kick. Sometimes you get them, sometimes you don't. From the referee's position, it was difficult because there were plenty of bodies in front of him."

I'm not even taking the mick, but I think Fergie has gotten to the point in his life where his mind is starting to go. Pissing is taking longer and longer, he keeps trying to put his left foot in the right shoe for an hour before he realizes what's happening and he has trouble remembering who Bebe is.

Senility has finally caught up with SAF. I pity him a tad.

Well what do you know. A SAF hate thread and look at the people in it...I'm really shocked Rolling Eyes

He has a point, diving was never in the english game before the forign players were introduce. FFS look at the biggest divers in the prems history, Ronaldo, Flopgba, Nani, Suarez, I mean it's obvios. ROnaldo's dives won at least 12 points.

It's not like SAF is that wrong. Sure, English players dive as well, but it's not like it's widely accepted as part of the game as it is in many other countries. And even if there is English players who dive, at least they'll get shit for it from their countrymen.

everyone dives, but the english players don't roll around like they got a career ending injury like the foreign players do, usually just pull there socks up, get up and carry on.

I know if it was me, I wouldn't be rolling around because my mates would never let me hear the end of it off the pitch.

I imagine most english players have the same mentality, they don't want the off field stick from friends and relatives, as it is not a "manly" thing to do
