Great Leader Sprucenuce wrote:Yes your right that was inappropriate and i apologise.
Just getting annoyed with threads that has nothing to do with messi coming all about messi.
This is a thread about ibra if you dont like it then just ignore the thread.
Theres no need to come in hating on ibra and posting messi videos.
I dont get it. Many of the Ibra quotes is him bashing Messi and Barca and yet you dont want anyone commenting on these.
Most of you wouldn't find it funny if he was insulting your clubs' philosophy and their players.
This has a lot to do with Messi and Barca otherwise dont post his Messi-Barca quotes If you dont want people to comment.

tuddor wrote:harhar11, why should we belive you and not zlatan that "Barca players act like school children"? He was in the same locker room with barca players, not you... He also gave some reasons to this in his book... You didn't
For me the way Barca players fall and simulate it's disgraceful... This is game is for men, i don't see any barca player being men on the field... I wait the day when a barca player will punch or face an opponent when they feel unjusticed, not crying at referees... They maybe the best in the world, but they don't have personality! They're all the same.
For example, the way fabregas turned into a little girl when he left EPL for Barca was unbelivable...
WTF are you talking about? What you just said had absolutely nothing to do with what I said. I didnt say that Ibra was lying, I only said that that quote showed his unprofessionalism . The way the Barca player act when it comes to following orders is exactly how you should act. I mean when you work and your boss tells you to do something, do you ask why or do you just do it?
Nor did I ever talk about diving.
Yeah fabregas wasnt a pussy for Arsenal.. oh wai...
The only difference between that and what he did against Sevilla was that against Sevilla Fabregas didnt roll around the pitch. So if anything, Fabregas has man up..
And I see you are a juve fan, does Vidal ring a bell?

Well, that speaks on the personality of all of us, also the culture of that particular club and coach.
I never take well to the idea of "shut up and do as you're told", i always ask why if i know i have the chance. Then again i also recognize that sometimes i can't do that and shut up.
I don't feel like Zlatan is being disrespectful to his former Barcelona teammates in his book, he's very disrespectful to Guardiola and the "humble" philosophy of Barcelona, but i think he speaks well of his former teammates.
Basically he goes to great lengths to explain why he such an individual person, why he's always edgy. It comes from his background, his family, how rich Sweden kids looked down on him, how he excelled because he had an edge and disregarded the rules and how he continues to thrive under that same principle.
He also points how Messi, Xavi, Iniesta and the rest of the la masia crew grew up there under the same philosophy and how they are so radically different from him, he lumps Van der Vaart under that same umbrella.

Re: Zlatanism
I dont think anyone even mentioned the word disrespectful before chinomaster. I know I never said he was disrespectful towards Barca or Messi. Heck in another thread where a madridista said that Ibra was being disrespectful toward Messi because Messi wanted Ibras position, I was defending Ibra saying that he never dissed Messi...
All I said was that that quote showed ibras unprofessionalism and should not be praised, nothing more nothing less...

Heck, he was basically criticizing the club for giving him a free car ffs!
"Hey you", Guardiola said. "Here in Barca we keep our feet down on the ground."
"Sure", I said. "Fine."
"Here we don't drive any Ferraris or Porsches to training."
I nodded, didn't go cocky on him, like how the *bleep* is what car I'm driving your concern? But I thought "What does he want? What message is he giving me? Believe me, I don't need any fancy cars or parking on the sidewalk to show off anymore. That wasn't it. I love my cars. They're a passion of mine, but I sensed something else behind his words. Kind of: don't think you're so special.
Tell me what exactly you find wrong with this one.

There is a difference between 'can play' and 'willing to play'

Re: Zlatanism
Sweden's official national dictionary has added 'Zlatan' as a verb. Their definition, 'to Zlatan', is 'to dominate' or 'to dominate on and off the field'.
The phrase was first coined in France, where the PSG striker has inspired Parisians to use the word 'Zlataned' as a way of saying 'succeeded in a task with ease'.
