RWO... that site is not reliable. Those stats are completely wrong. Use soccernet.com. They pay either OPTA or Stats LLC to give them their numbers and both are supremely reliable.

I'm not sure that foreign sites are better about the Bundesliga than transfermarkt.de. Where foreign leagues are concerned, I guess you might have a point for EPL or La Liga, but I noticed that the BL is usually treated rather badly outside of Germany.

Transfermarkt.de counts "penalty's won" as assists. No other site considers that as an assist. That's the only difference.

Opta and Stats LLC officially keep stats for 95% of the top professional footy teams in the world. They have to be right since it's their livelihood. Bild uses Opta for their stuff in terms of media in Germany... i know that for a fact.

I have checked on transfermarkt.de on a few things and they always have errors when i cross checked.

I found the minutes numbers wrong almost always and shots often too. It's a bit of a nightmare.

I just took the time to cross-check the assists for Thomas Müller via the kicker.de minute by minute live ticker and match analysis - the data I got from that was identical with the data transfermarkt.de gave:

Okay, as you said that BILD was supposed to use OPTA, I cross-checked the Müller data with the data in the Sportdaten Center of SportBILD, and again the data was identical with the data from transfermarkt.de.
