HB M'vila has looked a shadow of a player he once was. The only player I would realistically want to see is Capoue.

His physical presence could ease the defensive responsibilities of Arteta, thus giving him more freedom.

I'll share my FIFA team though. Ps: some players wanted to leave.

Mvila is done, shit attitude and off form. Rennes are even kicking themselves for not getting rid of him when they had the chance. In the national team he has lost his place to Diaby,Capoue,Sissoko heck even Matuidi is ahead of him now

As far as getting a DM goes, i rather we gave Frimpong and Coquelin a chance and see how they do if they don't improve then go for someone.

The guy was meant to be playing in an under21 qualifier for France against Norway, him and 4 other players went partying 3 days earlier then they lost the game.

This thread makes me want to laugh. A lot.

I don't expect any big money signings in the winter, or even next summer. But I do enjoy this parlor game.

Just sitting on the boundary of being conceivable, Jovetic would be my ideal big money attacking signing. Young, technically gifted, physically no pushover, seems to have a good head on his shoulders. I think this guy's great and he could lead the line, play on the left, or work as a second striker. If Fiorentina stumble again this season in Serie A, I would be thrilled to see Wenger put in a serious bid.

At the other end of the pitch, a solid goalkeeper to compete with Szczesny would be very welcome. A couple months ago I really didn't feel this would be an issue, as I had high hopes for Szczesny. I still do. But with his shaky form and injury problems, the squad is left with essentially no reliability between the sticks. I don't have any particular target I want to see Wenger sign in goal, just someone who is consistent and is at least good enough to pressure Szczesny.

This is what i thought, personally i find Verm a bit overrated and Kos and Mert should be your starters but do you need 4 high profile CB's?

Both Vermaelen and Mbiwa are overrated.

Rated because they're good with the ball... let's forget that both have Mascherano's positional sense, Walcott's football brain and that neither can actually defend

We have Vermaelen already as our clueless starting defender, no need for another one.

Vermalaen hasnt been very reliable lately. But he does command respect in the pitch. You can see it. We would be worse off without him. Plus he has got the armband, which makes it really hard to just drop him to the bench. I have always wondered if He can play next to Arteta and Cazorla. That would solve a lot of our problem. Kos and THE BIG F'IN GERMAN compliment each other more anyways.

Nope he's not set for anyone.

Milan wanted him, we wanted him, Gladbach wanted him etc etc.

But he's chose no one atm.

Problem you will have is giving him first team football and he won't get it, he will go somewhere he will start and i don't think Arsenal can give him that.
