Is it me or games in europe are getting tough ?? hmm

, the so called small teams are improving. For example 2 or 3 seasons ago Barca would have hammered Celtic and Yanited would have done the same thing to Braga. Europe getting competitive again ??

Nah, Barca aren't as good they were under Guardiola.

Plus they never always beat small CL teams.

couple of years back barca were finding it hard against the likes of rubin kazan and copenhagen

but you could say there are few "small teams" who got stronger

Really where does this come from? This forum intelligence has declined for sure!

Yes I agree with the OP the quality has definitely improved some teams come to battle the big teams. Today was a great example.

Celtic had lost all their last 24 or so games away in CL until they beat Spartark last month.

However in their run of away losses was the draw they had way to Barca 3-4 years go..or something.

Celtic are always a pain for Barca. Today, they basically did a Chelsea......PTB and hope for a mistake or set piece, which they scored from.

FYI.....Tito has had a better stat than Pep had.

I believe it's actually the opposite. The small teams are not improving in any way, it's just the big teams are in decline..

Lool I was thinking in the match that this is exact the same game as Chelsea away, other than the scoreline.

That just goes to prove that Barca has only one clinical finisher in Messi. I don't even get excited when Sanchez/Iniesta/Pedro etc get in one on one position with the gk. Most of the time, they always seem to screw it up.

the smaller teams have improved but i think its due more to the fact that the bigger teams are more vulnerable than they were a few years ago.
