I must say that I am very disappointed with the whole change thing. I thought that for once we would have continuity. And with players like Benz and Marcelo who have WC potential, there was absolutely no need for Coentrao and there is no need for Aguero or Neymar. Looking only at the transfers made, apart from Coentrao it is going well from a continuity standpoint but one of Aguero or Neymar will probably arrive.

As I said before, Mou already has enough of an ego to go with his genius. He now has total supreme power, and Real Madrid has the unlimited funds. Put 2 and 2 together and we have a very frightening proposition. If he wanted, Aguero, Neymar, Pastore and Cesc could all come together and sing around a campfire.

Let's hope we only have Coentrao and Sahin as the big changes from last year.

I never would have expected it would come down to this.

I guess all those talks about Mou making Madrid his ultimate project, redeveloping our youth program etc. were wishful thinking.

I truly hope we will buy only one out of Neymar and Aguero (preferably Aguero then) and just stick with that. And he'd better continue playing Marcelo.

Mourinho's Messiah complex should have some boundaries. I was never too pleased that he completely overruled Perez (not that Perez is any better).

At least in the case of Benzema, the changes were on the cards well before Mourinho was given this extra authority. That one doesn't surprise me. We've been linked with Aguero prior to this summer, the reason is clear.

Seeing how realistically I don't anyone else coming other than neymar, i do hope lass stays. becuz if he leaves we must sign an immediate replacement. I'm well aware of Mou being in charge of the team but i cannot help but feel that if the lass issue isnt addressed, it be a makelele scenario all over again. especially since after lass, only one left be the b2b dm khedira. Khedira im not comfortable with for reasons already explained (injury prone).

have we been linked with any dm since the time we learned lass wants to leave? the lack of rumours for his replacement is disturbing...

when makelele left, we lost one of the greatest DM in football in his prime, spine of our team, undoubted starter, and such a commanding and reassuring presence in the midfield, one of a kind.

I hardly think Lass compare lol. if we move Pepe as DM, he will kick just as many people.

We don't really need a DM honestly. It would be nice to have one. But you have Khedira who's defensive-minded b2b and Pepe to fill that role if it's ever needed. Varane maybe... although i think that would be a bit disastrous given his experience.

Anyhow, you have two guys that can definitely do it.

You can also push Alonso to an even more defensive role and put Sahin in the Alonso's passing spot if necessary.

Plenty of options.

Yeah. Of course, we'd really be playing 5 defenders since pepe was crap once he had to do something with the ball in the midfield... but that's a minor detail.

Problem Regis is that they werent the first to catch that. ElCondfidencial was/is FAR ahead of them, same with AS. Marca always pick it up late.
