Marc Marquez is the current Moto 2 champion. He won the world title 2 weeks ago, but in this weekend at Valencia he won the race starting last (due a penalisation)! He overtook 20 competitors in the first lap.

Touted as the new Valentino Rossi, he will be racing in top flight Moto GP next season. Has two world championships at the age of 19, equaling Rossi at the same age.
