BEIN Sport is great!

This is Al Jazeera's sports network which Comcast/Xfinity has added. I dropped FIOS because they did not add it. They show Serie A and La Liga as well as rugby, professional volleyball and other sports. They concentrate on La Liga and Serie A in their football commentary shows and of course they show a lot of Liga and Serie A matches. Today the best games were the Valladolid-Madrid and Roma-Fiorentina matches. Both with lots of goals and a lot of excitement. The Roma 4-2 win was possibly better because the announcers were saying that Fiorentina would probably dominate, but it was the other way around. Totti scored a heck of a goal from outside the area.

I wanna get this channel 2...
I hate foxsoccer so much till it hurts....
When they showing highlights on Foxsoccer report, EPL is in HD while every where else in the world look like it's been record by a toothbrush...

Al Jazeera Sports is superb, definitely the best sports channel out there, and it's relatively cheap as well. They show pretty much everything. I'm a subscriber since 2007

Bein Sport is not yet in HD, but they say it will be soon. I like Xfinity/Comcast compared to FIOS which I had before for the TV in general. I don't think the internet they provide is slower than FIOS, in fact it seems faster. I haven't run a test yet though.

Until they add English to the Xfinity sports package instead of Spanish, I can't really like this network when it prioritizes La Liga over every other league.

Actually, Ray Hudson (on the radio show) told me to go into the setup and change the audio to English and then, even the Spanish broadcast come in English. I just tried it yesterday for the first time. It works.

Xfinity is supposed to get the Bein Sport US (US/English) language channel added this month and it does more Serie A. In fact, it has a Serie A show and yesterday the Spanish language showed the Inter-Napoli game in the evening whereas the U.S. channel showed it live.

On the Atleti v Barca game today:

"The game kicks off at 3pm on Saturday. If you're in the UK and you're frantically scanning your TV guide for this one, though, you're going to be disappointed. Broadcasting rules introduced 50 years ago state that no live football can be shown on British television between the hours of 2.45pm and 5.15pm on a Saturday."

I miss having CL+all top 6 leagues with BeIN sports

Never understood that rule, feel bad for British football fans because this seems to happen all the time.

I'm sure the FA doesn't want that, but why does the British government care? Either the FA is making money or Sky Sports is making money, doesn't really make a difference to them.

Because it brings in money to the country as a whole, british government isn't going to give a rats ass about tv money that the PL receives.

Besides it's important that the match going citizens are not seen more of an after thought than they already are.

I wont be surprised if Italian fans are more hooked on to other leagues these days anyway.

Yeah they want people to watch PL games in the stadium as opposed to watching Spanish games on tv.

Instead of sitting on the couch and watching a game on TV in the comfort of your home,maybe that would force people to go out and attend a game.Especially if you are a hardcore footie fan.

Yeah basically, they are very protective over it.

Also i do think it should be adjusted for foreign games as the ruling is mainly in effect for UK games but seeing as it's been in effect 50 years no actual consideration was made for Barcelona and Atletico games lol.

I understand that point of view, thing is England the 3pm games have always been a big part of our culture. Sky and the Premier League put a serious dent into into it and for that reason a lot of English people hate Sky. Especially people my age or older.

This law is suppose to protect it to some extent, obviously it can only help so much though.

BeIN Sport France is for sale btw.  They lose an average of 250 mil to 350 mil PER YEAR.  With the fall in oil prices, Qatar is more sensitive to this.  Vivendi is rumored to be discussing buying the whole thing.

Although, I sure wish Bein En Espanol would stop prioritizing La Liga so much. I still have to stream Monaco and Roma and I like watching my footy on the TV and not on the computer.

Kills me everytime when they put Las Palmas vs Eibar instead of top side Ligue 1 and Serie A matches.

Gave up on BeinLiga long time ago.

Still holding out hope that Fox will get Serie A rights eventually like they did the Buli.

If Fox somehow get Serie A then I hope ESPN also somehow get Ligue 1. Ligue isn't as popular though.
