Some of you might know that I love music and I appreciate a nice pair of speakers/headphones. I just can't seem to decide on a pair and Amazon reviews seems to be making my decision more difficult. I was in Best Buy the other day and in the Bose store today and I was very impressed when trying out the news noise canceling headphones (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0054JJ0QW/ref=s9_simh_gw_p23_d0_i3?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=1KBY3BEVR8QCW3WMYTGD&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1389517282&pf_rd_i=507846). The cost is high and I was opting to go with some cheaper Bose headphones ($150-$200 would be ideal), but I'm not opposed to other brands (I have a pair of Sennheiser HD555 but they are open ended and strictly for home). Any advice would be appreciated, although I prefer if you have owned or know someone who has owned what you're recommending.

Thanks in advance...

I can't speak for any of this because I haven't read the thread, but you might find this useful

Thanks, CBarca, Although, there are 198 pages and it did keep me up for a bit last night...

I actually ended up going with someone recommendation from that site, so I appreciate you sharing it with me. I know headphones aren't easy to shop for and there are so many brands/styles out.

This guy recommended the Panasonic Technics RP-DJ1200...Searching for some high quality headphones 71bjuf10 amazon only had 1 used version of this headphone.

I went with a similar version instead (Panasonic Technics RP-DH1200)...Searching for some high quality headphones 41h5m710

Went from 229.99 to 116.12. Expecting them on Wednesday, I'll let you know how they work out.

One review said the bass on these are incredible and that these headphones are great for hip-hop/electronica (a bulk of my music falls into that category). They might not be as good for a stringed quartet, but I have other headphones for all that.

Bro, I was starting to get a headache from so many Amazon searches. I was looking for some quality Bose headphones, but I know you can get better deals with other brands. I need/want something durable and high-quality, too many reviews where people complained about Bose headphones breaking (not to mention they expect me to pay for shipping both ways if I need something repaired).

True. I don't use headphones much tbh so I can't speak from personal experience but TL being a gaming forum (and a hella popular one at that), those guys know their sh*t.

Got a sweet pair of Sennheiser HD555, I was thinking about going with another pair, but I thought I would give these a chance. Not sure why so many people I know don't use Sennheiser more (great price to go along with great quality); most people that listen to my pair, leave here saying that want to look into buying a pair of them (brand, not exact style).

Got my babies in the mail today and I'm happy with my decision. Quality is good, could be better, but I like that they are said to be very durable (keep in mind I have high audio standards). They fold up quite nice as well and I just love so many things about them.

I think these Panasonic's have better quality (depending on the track) than my Sennheiser's and I like that the Panasonic Technics RP-DJ1200 came with removable cable(s) (it came with a 1/4" jack and 1/8" which goes into my M-Box). I'm just happy to have a pair of headphones I can use outside. The new headphones also came with a bag and they fold up nicely for traveling.

Searching for some high quality headphones 10209608

Just bagged myself some Monster Inspiration headphones with Active Noise Cancellation. Not a fan of Monster, primarily due to how overrated I thought Dre Beats were, but I nabbed these at a ridiculously cheap price considering the retail price is from $300-400.

If you can find a solid deal somewhere, I highly recommend these. Fantastic sound quality, especially for Electronic music. With ACN activated, it just takes the bass lines to a whole another level, while maintaining a very smooth sound Thumbs up
