Rechargeable batteries for the win :coffee:

Spend 40 bucks at Radio Shack and you get a pack of 4 batteries *charger included

MS really does have the worst PR ever... Why can't they just say stuff like this in the first place?

PS3 isn't a hastle at all. Battery life is long enough, soon as it gives you a 30 minute warning you plug the cable in lol

Done.

Reports about Xbox Ones failing to do the start-up update already hitting the web. Kink number one.

Can't use it without the update also.

Beat me to it. Yeah, I'd rather drop $15 on some rechargeable batteries and a charger and never have to worry about being restricted by a cord or charging time. Crazy that even with the batteries the controller is still so light. Shape is good though on the Xbox1, but I'm really liking the new PS4 remote.

Are we still shocked that new systems are going to have issues when shipping out their first orders? This is nothing new and is a trend that will continue anytime a new system is released. I'm not techy enough to explain why, however there is enough evidence in the past...

These problems are making me wonder if Microsoft even care at all...do they test their systems before shipping them out or do they just send them out without a care in the world.

People saying their system is making grinding noises and isn't reading games....some getting error messages after the initial update and some can't even get their systems to start.

I hope they resolve this.

Problems were to be expected with both ps4 and bone at launch though.

Anyone else still find it odd that the xbox one still has a a huge power brick?

mine works fine...there are always a few lemons on launch.....PS4 having there issues too let's not go saying Microsoft doesn't care when there is issues from both consoles.

and who cares about the power brick it is much smaller then the 360's anyways and you set up your Xbox One when you first get it then forget about it, people just love to nitpick

Having a rectangle block that's isn't small by any means. Getting it setup in lets say my basement where I have most of my entertainment equipment would consist of me shifting to find room to place a block.

Where with everything else it's just a cable. It's like when you have a surge protector and the ac adapter is like a square so when you plug it in it takes like two spots== hassle

Consoles will always be faulty at Launch. That's why they recommend you to get it after few months.

Mine hasn't developed a single problem, touch wood.

Having said that, some of the OS features from Xbox 360 are missing from Xbox One - for the time being at least. Such as viewing the last people you played with (very useful on FIFA when some pressure abuser rage quits Wink) or finding demos and such as games are not categorised properly on Xbox Store yet.

But the OS itself is so much faster than Xbox 360 that you don't want to switch on your old console again. And it looks slick too.
