He would have been a regular starter with both Real Madrid and the Spanish national team had he not faced heart problems in my opinion.

In my most personal and humble opinion, I think if he was still playing we would've reached the final in CL. He would've eaten Xavi and Iniesta alive out there.

He's not. He had to retire because of his heart condition. He is now part of the youth program as a trainer...

I'd call him a legend, yeah.
A football player who can't go on playing for his beloved club because of a heart condition that he has no control over, is definitely a legend in my book.
