Thoughts:

1) Cambiasso, Zanetti, Guarin, and Cassano are incapable of playing possession or controlling the tempo even against a small team like Cluj

2) Ricky Alvarez has been seriously, seriously, seriously underused this season

3) Kovacic looks good but he has a habit of going missing for long stretches

why are we playing all our first team lineup? didnt he learn the lesson from what happened against viola? even silvestre and jonathan are not playin, we should have rested cassano and some others for the derby

Well done on your progression in the Europa League guys, even if I'm still unsure of whether Strama will make this a serious priority. A trophy is a trophy, however financially qualification for the Champions League is more important, so it will be interesting to see how the club manage their priorities.

Some very difficult teams remain in the competition, it's going to be a potentially very tough run, though I do feel that you can get past Spurs, who were incredibly underwhelming against Lazio. Despite their quality, they're likely to be subdued by the same apathy this team may have towards the competition. Chances won't be hard to come by, it just depends on whether they're taken in Milito's absence.

Personally I'd play Jonathon in the hope that Bale doesn't bother to read the team sheet and instead assumes he's up against a Maicon who has put on 400 pounds in the aging process. Let him get cocky then enjoy Jonathon taking him down.
