Yep, like I said in the OP, #utterdemolition.

This was expected but this is hard to take

On a side note, I just watched half and hour of Liverpool vs Spur with a pool fan at my uni campus. Ended up in a heated debate with Pool vs Chelsea. These football memes of them being obsessed with history, FSW, Torres and Chelsea is true. I had to walk out when he started to compare Downing and Hazard, and mentioning that we messed up with Scolari who according to him managed us in 2004 prior to Mourinho.

Gotta give credit to FSW when it's due. I didn't think he made the right choice on subs but he did.

Bringing on your second best player when you need goals doesn't count as managerial brilliance.

If anything, it just proves what we were all saying 3 hours ago that the moron should have started those 2 in the first place.

True. Moses was awful for most of the game.

Why can't this lot put in that kind of performance every week?

for a full 90 minutes too. First 20 minutes were shocking.

Another thing, I don't know how they're going to fit this replay into the schedule. If we get past Steuau, its gonna be a nightmare.

Indeed, I am quite glad there is no WC or Euro's this year, the players will need a break.

hazards and rameres goal were really good, i agree shouldve started with both of them, but usually moses is a beast

Gotta give credit for FSW for subbing in Mikel, we were much more solid. Although I wish Lamps took a better shot when he got the chance Hazard is getting awesome again it was good to see that we were attacking for most of the game... but first 20 mins were like WTF for me... Shed followed ur advice didnt drink

BTW is it just me or does Lampard score more when Torres is playing?

Hate to look too picky, but at the time, taking off our leading goalscorer when we needed goals and bringing on a defensive midfielder in his place when we were already 0-2 down was a beyond stupid move. In reality, he should have started him in the first place. The FSW just got lucky it worked out this time.

Yea true he should have started. But he did what he had to do, lucky or not... that was the move that changed the match for me. Hazard might have scored the goal, but Mikel was the one who pretty much shut down the counters.

another one of those rollercoaster games, i so nearly stopped watching after rooneh scored

It was really a good game, best performance by the lads in a long time.

But meh i am not sure if it is a good thing that we got a draw, that is just another game we have to play with a small squad and a lot of games in between. Our priority should be a top 4 finish, don't really care much about the FA or EL tbh.

Seriously i am so happy that we played a game with so much fire and passion, haven't seen that in a while. Maybe this would be a turning point in late season.

I hope it is a turning point, I really do!
