Of course it's a transfer. We took the option to buy and paid Villarreal a fee in order to keep Zapata permanently. That's the difference between him being a Vilarreal player or a Milan player next season. This is different from a contract renewal, which only really concerns one club.

No i'm not saying its not a transfer. It's just that he was already there, but by all means put it on the list. I didn;t mean it like that though, of course it's a transfer.

Well he's more of a winger/AM than a striker and while it's steep, he'll no doubt be worth every penny for Monaco. His left is immaculate, whether he's at a FK or making that defense-splitting pass. His dribbling is also amazing, and if he can light up the Portuguese league the French league won't be any harder for him. Also, Lucas Moura went to PSG for the same price. In a season's time I wouldn't be surprised if James has made a bigger impact for his team than him (although idk if Monaco can win Ligue 1 this first season).

Aspas could turn out to be a really good signing, he loves to get into scoring positions and can play anywhere in attack, he is a tricky customer. did I mention he can pass/cross? he is a little bit on and off but he is basically celtas heartbeat, like messi to barca
