Del Piero vs Henry

Who was/is the better of these 2 legends?

i don't think Del Piero enter in top 100 best player ever, Henry enter.

Couldn't really tell you who's better.

I prefer Del Piero's creativity, passing, free kicks and long shots to Henry. Henry has the physical factor, as in he's fast, tall and built like a bull.

I see Del Piero more as the Bergkamp type, a creative type who's still a significant goal threat. Your trequartistas, obviously.

Henry's the complete striker package, the 9 you always wanted, with enough skills and pace to be able to play out wide.

So basically, it goes to to what sort of player you want. They could both play in the same team and rip it up, if you wanted to.

Henry is one of my favourite players,a completed player with good dribbling,speed and great finishing...
But the legendary Del Piero is a level above him...that's just my opinion

but i chose ADP, because his creativity was always great to watch, those slow motion dribbles that twisted defenders, the accurate and unpredictable passes, perfect distance shots, perfect ball control and the heart of a king and a true leader, he could do these things even last season when he was 37 years old, if you remember Henry's last season in Barca wasnt good, he would miss a lot of chances and fail his dribbles. but Henry and ADP at their prime could tare a team apart.

Del Piero was brilliant for longer but Henry had a higher peak than him. I remember Henry averaging 25 goals and 25 assists in the league alone at his peak. Even Messi doesn't get 25 assists in the league alone. So at their peaks, Henry for me.

Thierry Henry for me. Del Piero never really struck me as a player worth mentioning tbh.

del piero was an unbelievable player and certainly was the more technical one .

but henry had swag .

im an arsenal fan so its henry for me but both were legends

when del piero was at his peak, he suffered a terrible injury which kept him out for almost a year, and he lost all his speed, henry was a speedster, he would go over defenders by pushing the ball(he dribbled them too), and del piero would dribble them all the time and much more then henry, and its not the same playing in the serie a, (where teams pull back) then on EPL where teams play wide, and its easy to get through them, just see what suarez does to them, and remember that henry didnt take the ball from midfield to go and dribble the defenders and score.

at the end of the day, they are both legends, both do something better than each other,

For me to be one of the best is to shine in international stage. His record against Domestic sides is great but Thierry was great at both stages.

del piero always shined, one of the best CL scorers and he was great with italy, i remember him scoring the alla del piero goal vs germany and schooling ramos

Oh man I love both legends sooo much. I think this comparison is actually one of those where it's impossible to choose.

henry with a long distance , he had del piro's trickery and finishing along with much more , only in free kicks del piero can surpass him

Go do a Totti vs Del Piero....Henry and ADP they play in different positions.
