Manchester United at it again

£15 million per season for training ground naming rights. That's quite incredible. As much as I dislike United, cannot help but admire how far ahead they are of everyone else when it comes to commercial revenue.
The Glazers are the best owners in football.
Manchester United's Carrington training ground is to be renamed the AON training complex as part of a ground-breaking naming rights agreement worth around £15m a season.

Got to hand it to United they are creating a steady yearly revenue by essentially selling naming rights of things that are worthless.
I mean training kits and the name of their training ground? lol

This is everything whats wrong about football. Btw, Manchester United unfortunaly started making football a capitalism-sport back in the 90s.

15m a season just for a training ground name sounds nice.
Maybe every club should start renaming their training grounds.

Good luck trying to negotiate that deal. In all likelihood only 4-5 clubs in the entire world could pull off a sponsorship deal for their training ground.

Re: Manchester United at it again
Aon gets to use the Training ground for conferences, all training kits will have their names, pre season games, press conferences. And all Pre Season Tours will be handled by AON

Some sources say it's actually 23 mill a year. Either way, that's incredible really. + the 50+ mill a year we will be getting from Chevrolet too, plus the 30 or more sponsors. It's mind blowing.
The United marketing team are second to none.

Bayern Munich are the best at commercial revenue. They got £202.62M from commercial revenue last year, whereas Manchester United got £146.48M from commercial revenue.
