With Kagawa they went out 4th in the CL group stage, so it is a bit relative whether they were better. ^^

Gotze was injured for most of the year last year.

They didn't have a direct attacking winger like Reus. Kagawa had Grosskreutz and Kuba as the wingers.

And Klopp changed some things tactically from last year.

Great half of football that was played here .

The atmosphere is great, the quality of football is great, almost everything is there in such a game.And because there is a matching of formations it has made the game even more interesting to see from a tactical stand point and identifying the different types of players and roles . It is only lacking a goal .

Obviously, the keepers have been the better performers in this game. I can't believe no one spoke about these 2 wonderful keepers pre-game .

I feel the game has been pretty equal bar the first 25 minutes where Dortmund were dominant in the first 25 minutes. Bayern seemed clueless at first with that intense pressing of Dortmund causing them to have no rhythm early in the game, you could see Schweinsteiger dropping extra deep like that was the only solution for the pressing and even Ribery and Robben were too deep at one point.Because they weren't moving the ball quickly and properly.

But as the half wore on, Bayern grew into the game as they found their width a bit more which created some of the chances they had.

It will be interesting to see the last 20-30 minutes of the second half because I think this is where Bayern can almost certainly score with the intense pressure Dortmund applied earlier on because they will eventually tire.
