Since us the mighty GLers disagree with every award or team of the seasons, I thought why not make our own awards? Balon D Or? No, it's all politics. WhoScored? No, they only see stats. Goal.com? No, they are shit. PFA? No, Brave Scotty Parker won two years back. NOW, we have the solution. Note: This is only for European leagues, sorry Nerman.

Harsh on Postiga, Zealous... He had his best scoring year of his career, playing for a relegated side lol.

Not bad to get 13 goals. Probably one of their best players.

Yeah I know it's just that I never really rated him lol

Ramos wasn't benched because of his set piece defending (although at the start of the season it wasn't that great).

He's been one of La Liga's best CBs though. Comfortably in the top 3.

Italian Serie A
Best Goalkeeper: Buffon
Best Defenfer: Bonucci (Had a great season imo)
Best Midfielder: Vidal
Best Forward: Cavani
Best Coach: Conte (If Fio made 3rd I'd have picked Montella, Conte kept us top of serie A from pretty much the first to the last game, proved the doubters wrong who put his previous success down to no European fatigue)
Best Young Player (U21): SES
Best Transfer: Montolivo (Pogba needs to play more before he wins this, Giampaolo P. gets an honourable mention
Worst Transfer: Silvestre or Schelotto, pick 1 I guess.
Best Player: Vidal (Cavani had a barren goal drought, Vidal maintained his spectacular form
Worst Player: Neto is a good call, he can't tackle for shit. Truely not worthy of anything except this award.

Team of the Season:

------------------------------------Buffon-----------------------------------
Lichtsteiner--------Bar-----------Bonucci------------Chiellini----------SES*
---------------------Vidal---------Montolivo--------Borjit0o0o0-----------
------------------------Toto Di Natale------------ChinVani----------------

Put SES wing back as this isn't just a team that could work, I was trying to fit the players I wanted to in this formation.

Have to use 3 at the back really, considering the top 2 teams and 3 out of the top 4 teams used it. Would be odd not to base it on this.

Bench: Handanovic (Not his fault that he has clowns infront of him, but I can't NOT give GIGI the place considering he barely put a foot wrong all season in the league)

Pirlo (Missed out by his own exceptionally high standards

Totti

Marchisio

Campagnaro

Giampaolo P.

Lamela

whoever else.

No SES on your team https://i.servimg.com/u/f43/16/93/79/64/37329810.gif

I actually get it, with SES there is no room for Di Natale who has again been quite amazing. I put Totti instead of Di Natale which ain't unfair at all, Totti's goal+assists is immense this season.

You could make an argument for a lot of players, and Totti has been excellent this season. SES has been great, Chiellini good. You could make a case for Rodriguez, as well as Borja. Bradley has also been outstanding, You can also argue about the inclusion of Behrami

In the end my XI is just made up of what i think is most functional, and adds a bit of my personal preference
