Barcelona team to play Levante:

Valdes; Alves, Pique, Mascherano, Adriano; Busquets, Xavi, Fabregas; Sanchez, Messi, Pedro

Levante team:

Navas; Pedro Lopez, Navarro, Rodas, Juanfran; Mate, Pinto; Garcia, El Zhar, Xumetra; Barral

Things i have noticed that has changed from Barca....

Pressing is miles better and the wide players are allowed more freedom than past two seasons.

Which means a few things.... Defence will probably not be as exposed, likes of Alexis and Pedro will probably be better this season.

Its nothing to do with the quality of opponent.

Since Martino arrived i have seen 5 games and the common theme is more organised and intense pressing and the wingers are allowed more freedom than before.

Nothing to do with the opponent, these changes are very obvious keep digging your head into the sand though

Oh pls Mole, Barca were owning scrubs last season too... That's why they got 100 points but were humiliated everytime they met a big team.

If you honestly believe Barca are different from last season after this match you haven't learned anything from last season. Can't judge Barca until they meet a decent team. La Liga has reached its all time lowest and consist of shit now, all talented and good players moved to PL or other clubs. I'm sure Barca will continue to show dominant performances in the league but choke in the big games

I'm just noting tactical changes, which are very obvious. I'm not saying they are going to be better we can't judge that yet.

But you can definitely see differences, they are pressing with intensity from front to back and the wingers have more freedom.

None of these things happened last year, doesn't mean they are going to be better but its quite obvious changes have been made.

Barca wasn't pressing last season becouse of tactical changes, they weren't pressing becouse they didnt have the energy nor the motivation to do it... I don't see that changing. It's their first game of the season but let's see if the pressing stays midway into the season...
