I could be wrong here but isn't Zanetti injured for months on end?

Also if that team becomes reality i'm changing my top 3 pick to include Inter.

Zanetti will be injured for a while as well as Milito with no definite return date.

I agree about Ricky,he really came into his own when we started using him as a SS/inside forward,was an absolute beast but Mazzari wants to use him as an advanced CM in a central midfield of 3,where Guarin and Kovacic will probably start alongside a DM.

Who are napoli getting for right back and left back? Surely they can't go out and spend big money on unecessary players like jackson martinez and still neglect massive holes in defence as it stands napoli are fcked if they play a 4 at the back formation.

i think Alvarez will have a more prominent role this year. This dude really impressed me the 2nd half of last season.

like i previosly said on first page of this thread, Benitez will get 3 players, 1 defender, 1 midfielder and 1 attacking player.

it could be a LB or RB, who knows, even a CB for all we know.

if he plays 3 at the back it could work well for napoli. Maggio is borderline world class rwb but as a rb is hopeless, armero is lightning quick but he takes to many risks as a left back for it to work out. If i was benitez i would request either coentrao and kolarov, luis gustavo and a partner for higuain, not sure martinez - higuain would work but hey benitez knows more about football then me so lol. gustavo/inler and hamisk/behrami/dzemali is a good midfield.

if they keep zuniga, buy a guy of the caliber of Kolarov, Arbeloa, Lulic, etc, buy luis gustavo and martinez? itll be a good serie A. Proud

Both Surag & HollaMadrid's English is very good.

Surag especially since grew up speaking Kerala & Telegu.

While Holla's English is deceiving because he is lazy to use proper syntax etc.

Hamsik.Will.Not.Be.Benced. Napoli is going to buy another striker so Hamsik is going to be benched? This is like saying Iniesta/Xavi will be benched when Cesc was bought two years ago. Hamsik has near legendary status at Napoli and his recent comments on wanting to become Napoli's Totti probably sealed it. Benitez's comments on Hamsik/Lampard/Gerrard lead me to believe that Benitez will play him in an advanced CM role.

Doubt he will flop, Krasic has no football brain just all pace. Honda has pretty much everything, he even outshone him when he joined CSKA, I remember a CL game one of the first matches for Honda if not the first, can't remember who it was against but adaptability at a higher level is not a problem for Honda-sama.
