Doubt he'd be a main eventer competing for the WWE title. He'd be like Rock/Lesnar, except he'd probably appear more often.

Rock main evented WM
Lesnar beat CM Punk, HHH and feuded with Cena
Not sure you helped your own point there.

By Rock/Lesnar, I mean he'd be a part time attraction. However due to his age I can't see him main eventing too much. He'd just be in the odd match against Punk/Cena etc at a PPV.

Last thing this company needs whilst it's struggling to have legit main eventers, is an old man running about burrying everybody shouting about Hulkamania and all that.

At Hogan's age. Drew Mcwhatshisface should be able to beat him

Drew, tragic career so far ffs
He was like a rich mans Axel with his early push, now he's in the most annoying jobber group in a long time along with 2 people who I despise for being so shit.

They need to repackage Drew. He can be a decent mid carder.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 7
True, however the balance with Rock/Lesnar has worked well. At big PPV's they're star attractions. I'd rather watch Hogan over a boring Kofi/Axel/Santino/3MB/Del Rio/Big Show/Rhodes/Khali/Swagger etc match.
Plus I doubt he'd be at every PPV. Just the main ones. I think at TNA he was some of an authority/GM figure, so that's also possible.

I want Luke Gallows (Festus) back tbh
Big guy who's also pretty fast and can wrestle.
#Justice4Luke
Also, is Rey Mysterio still with the WWE? Hope not, he annoys me.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 7
From JR's blog
Crunch time for WWE as it relates to producing a compelling Monday Night Raw that sells the HIAC PPV which will be the 2nd, I think, PPV of the billing cycle for the company. With the overall lack of main event depth in WWE these days, now would be the perfect time to get someone on a roll...attempt to get them hot and see if the individual can connect with the audience. One can always audible out of it but this matter can't be determined in a few weeks no matter how sage like some feel that they may be in determining such. It's a process that is largely determined by the live audience's reaction over time. All sports, or entertainment, fans want to support the 'stars' and 'stars,' IE heroes, and all have similar traits. They win more than they lose, they somehow eventually overcome when the odds are the greatest against them and they never quit. All these traits endears them to the audience. Fans can identify with winning. Loses become significant moments and not every other week occurrences. 50/50 booking helps NO one. Those trying to re-invent the "booking" wheel and who refuse or simply ignore basic psychology and human emotions are foolish or naive or...gasp... egomaniacal. Box office receipts and PPV numbers should convince any one who professes that the fine line between good and evil need not exist.
Spot on JR, especially the egomaniacal part, if that's a real word

So true, 50/50 win to loss is stupid. For wrestlers (face or heel) you want to push.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 7
Funny RAW.
cba talking about the 3 jobbers and the los noonecarsdores and other lowcarders but
Cesaro is really getting pushed. Getting and winning matches now.
Miz randomly attacking Orton. Crowd gives two shits about him. Wyatt family at the end
Speaking of Orton. That rape segment in the training room with the Bellas wtf lmao
Del Borio attacking Bryan lmao. Finally got some heat after 5 years.
HHH was GOAT with that promo. What a heel. Stephanie giving that lusty look
Really liking Cody more n more. That match was amazing. Big Show
Still dont care about him.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 7
I love the direction the WWE is taking. I never thought id give a crap about Big Show and here i am marking out for him two weeks in a raw, and then there is Codey Rhodes who i never gave two shits about but they put him in an actual storyline and he's finally proving his worth. Danial Bryan being booked like a true underdog and not a cookie cutter superman *cough*Cena*cough* Randy Orton is finally the heel he should be, and most importantly, HHH is doing his best work since Evolution. Now that's a product id like to watch every week.

60 year old Goldberg vs Ryback has borefest written all over it. Still I will mark out when Goldberg returns with his epic entrance music . Spear and Jackhammer one of my favourite finishers ever, gonna love seeing that again.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 7
It could be a bore fest if they try to make a 20 mins match out of it, but if book it right it could be a very solid match granted that they dont go above 10 mins. Goldberg has to win or ill riot
