Tottenham approach Chelsea with a view to buying a player, according to BBC. The player is thought to be Mata.

Chelsea are refusing to sell him.

Lille wanted 15 for Thauvin.... but rumor is that they would take an immediate 10. So the 8+2 from OM is very close. I expect the deal to get done at either 10 or 10+2.

As far as OM, there are rumors that Jordan Ayew and Amalfitano are headed to the EPL...

That's because Sevilla weren't accepting any bids at less than 20 mil... When it was though that it was 8, everyone lined up lol. Arsenal made an offer of 15 and was rejected.

Monaco is willing to pay the 20, so that's that.

Erik Lamela will fly to London at some point over the next 24 hours to complete his move from Roma to Tottenham.

That is according to Sky Sport Italia, who this afternoon claim that the Argentine’s agents are in the English capital wrapping up personal terms.

The 21-year-old was an unused substitute in Roma’s 2-0 win at Livorno last night in Week 1 of the new Serie A season.

The wide attacker is expected to cost Spurs, who look set to cash in on Real Madrid target Gareth Bale, around €35m.

Lamela, who Tottenham director Franco Baldini knows well given his time with the Giallorossi, joined the Italian outfit in 2011 from River Plate for around €17m.

He has scored 19 goals in 62 League games for La Magica – 15 of those came during the last campaign.

@Moto: Tbf after the way Chelsea came in after Willian had a f*cking medical and stole Willian for no reason, I fully support Levy doing all he can to unsettle Mata. Mata should feel unsettled by Willian coming in anyway. Chelsea buying a direct competitor to Mata's position for big money when Mata has been the best Chelsea player by far since he's joined rofl

Absolutely insane treating your best player that way, especially when he's not ruining the team, his wages aren't insane (Wouldn't matter to Chelsea anyway) and he doesn't have a massive ego.

It's just insane.
