well I'm of the pragmatic conviction that it's always the players in my team that are the best ones. So I don't want Khedira when we have Rode, should we sign Khedira however I'll be quick to point out how he's a proven leading player personality, seasoned midfielder, having captained that legendary u21 side, Stuttgart, then of course Real, NT, World Cup etc pp

I don't have a source, but it was presented as fact on Kicker and on Sport1 in Bundesliga aktuell, which is both far from official, but also way beyond the usual Bild rumors.
