Re: ManUtd in CRISIS!
Man Utd are far from being in crisis.
They destroyed Swansee without Fellaini.
Loss at LfC is irrelevant.
They are too big of a club to allow such downfall.

Lets see how Moyes and his team get on when playing one of the big boys in a Champions League Quarter/Semi Final, if they get there, i predict he will fail.

It's Moyes first year as MAN U manager,I doubt that he'll win the PL or anything in fact.

Re: ManUtd in CRISIS!
Stay classy, GL
The only fact in this thread is what some people have mentioned: The race will be tougher this year because other teams have strengthened more than we do.
Still the same squad (plus Zaha and Fellaini), a coach who was bought in to ensure as smooth a transition as possible into a new era (lmao at those who think Fergie's effect on the club is completely gone, he's still there pulling Moyes' strings).
The worst we are at recently was that horror of a transfer window. But that doesn't make a crisis.
So, yes, come end of year we'll still be holding something... enjoy seeing "scrubs" like Evra and Nani hold championship gold

Re: ManUtd in CRISIS!
Man u have been in decline since 07/08 season, Fergie Budget not being what it should be due to the leeching Glazers & it's finally catching up. Man U should be making Bale level signings, biggest/second biggest club in the world, get hundred million or something ridic from ADL just to sponsor their training kit ffs but Moyes budget can only afford Fellani? Glazers are a cancer. It's disgusting how the spineless premier league has allowed a situation like that in englands premier club

Fergie was worth atleast 10 points to man utd & now he is gonearchwooohh wrote: (lmao at those who think Fergie's effect on the club is completely gone, he's still there pulling Moyes' strings)
Fergie used to cover poor united performances by diverting attention to refree. now he is gone
Fergie factor is no longer present in united spirit
Fergie was not alone in driving united squad forward it was steele, phelan and Rene Meulensteen
But still i agree
Now alone he cant do what he used to do

Re: ManUtd in CRISIS!
But Van Persie, who is currently preparing for the Netherlands’ World Cup qualifier against Estonia on Friday, is adamant that is not the case.
He told De Telegraaf: "It's great working with the new manager David Moyes. He has his own style and methods and I like this.
"I'm happy with the style of Moyes. He does his own training sessions, he's close with the players and, with his staff, prepares us very well for the next opponent. That keeps us in shape. Luckily, winning the title last year gave us hunger for more."
Van Persie earned Moyes the first trophy of his United career when he scored both goals in the Community Shield win against Wigan and scored another brace in his maiden league victory at Swansea.
But he cut a frustrated figure in Sunday’s 1-0 defeat at Liverpool and the Daily Star quoted an unnamed friend of the striker saying: “Robin isn’t happy. He really misses Fergie, who he loved playing under.”

Re: ManUtd in CRISIS!
Serious comprehension issues. Had Arsenal not signed Ozil, then you guys wouldn't have been in a position to call United a crisis club.. tbh Arsenal are in more of a crisis than United. You guys are talking as if Arsenal will finish above United.REWB wrote:god how *bleep* butthurt are liverpool fans, this thread has nothing to do with ozil, what a stupid comment.ExtremistEnigma wrote:I wonder if this thread would've existed had Arsenal not signed Ozil..
I'm not butthurt, just can't stand the delusion of Arsenal fans who suddenly think that they are now world beaters after splashing money for once.

Re: ManUtd in CRISIS!
So much bollocks lol.
Liverpool bossed Man Utd in Fergie's time too.... they always raise their games for Man Utd it means nothing for either teams fortunes.
Man Utd will still challenge for the title and Liverpool will go closer to the top 4.
Crisis lol.... almost as hilarious as those saying Arsenal are in a crisis after losing to Villa lmao.

We beat Swansea 1-4 away. Then we failed to beat a solid defensive Moruinho Chelsea, then we lost at Anfield, a place we always struggle at even under SAF. 3 games in is silly to say we're in a crisis.
As for the transfer window, we had a novice in Woodward.
We've kept Rooney, nani has signed a new 5 year deal and we managed to get Fellaini to add some steel to that midfield of ours. We're still strong.

Re: ManUtd in CRISIS!
We don't really know yet if Man Utd are in crisis, they had two comfortable wins against Wigan and Swansea, one really good performance against Chelsea (one point against a title contender, such a terrible point) and a loss against Liverpool, admittedly a poor performance.
One loss against a strong Liverpool side doesn't make a crisis does it? When they start losing to weaker opposition, that's when we can tell they're in crisis but I don't really see it, it was the same last season and Man Utd still won the league quite comfortably.

Re: ManUtd in CRISIS!
they lack that energy in their team that was present during ferguson era..
1. They lost to pool
2. Young dived to win the penalty and united was gifted the match despite being poor crystal palace
3. they lost today
4. RVP gone and injured who will score for them now

Since Fergie left? Oh no. The problem is there for several seasons now so don't put the blame on Moyes. Not surprised to be honest.boyzis wrote:they have been a downward spiral since fergie left. no wonder i see fergie looking worried at the current state of this club.

Re: ManUtd in CRISIS!
We've been playing poorly for a long time tbh. It's just we could get away with it due to SAF's managing experties and the winning at all costs mentality he instilled to the players.
We don't have SAF's genius to fall back on atm....and to be honest, it's quite worrying just how overly cautious Moyes' approach is when it comes to the big games so far. we look bereft of ideas when it comes to creating chances and our general play is slow and predictable. That's the only concern for me atm. Our lack of creativity and his over reliance on Young.
Ofcourse Utd haters will grasp any opportunity to declare it a crisis, but it's far from it, considering the fixtures we've had in our opening 5 games.
We've got a good run of fixtures now up until Nov 10th when we play Arsenal at home. Anything less than atleast 12 points leading up to that game, then people will have the right to call it a "crisis" or whatever.
